Everything in BDI Cloud is reached from the sidebar, and everything in the sidebar is organized around projects. Once you know that the middle of the sidebar changes with the project you have open and the bottom does not, the rest follows.
Choosing a project
The project selector sits at the top of the sidebar. Your account may have access to several projects, and only one is open at a time.
Changing projects changes almost everything below it. The dashboards, connections, devices, Virtual Devices, and alerts you see all belong to the project you have open. Nothing crosses between projects.
This is worth checking first whenever something looks wrong. A dashboard you cannot find or a device that has vanished is far more often the wrong project than a real fault.
Inside a project

Outside any project
Below the project areas sit Team settings and Organization settings. These are not scoped to whichever project you have open — they cover the team and organization the project belongs to, and they are where users and access are managed rather than monitoring data.
Your account details are at the bottom of the sidebar.
If something is missing
Two things determine what appears in your sidebar: the project you have open, and the role you hold. An area you cannot see is usually one your role does not include, not one that is broken.
Check the project first, since it is the more common answer and takes a moment to rule out. If you are in the right project and something you expect is still absent, your role is the next thing to check. Projects and access explains how that works, and a Team owner in your organization can confirm what you have been granted.
